Emma Holder

Experimental Scientist | Data Analysis & Software Development

Emma is a physicist by training. At Rudimental Labs, she contributes across software, hardware, and data-driven domains. Before joining the team, she worked as a researcher at CSIRO, where she honed her skills in scientific analysis, experimental design, and computational methods.

Emma’s expertise spans software development for IoT systems (Python, C++, JavaScript), database design and management, and advanced data analysis. She has experience in experimental design and post-processing, ensuring that complex datasets are transformed into actionable insights. Her technical strengths also include embedded circuit design, embedded software development, and computer modelling, enabling her to bridge the gap between physical systems and digital tools.

Known for her analytical rigour and adaptability, Emma is equally comfortable developing code, designing experiments, or producing technical white papers through desk-based research. This breadth of capability allows her to integrate seamlessly across disciplines and deliver high-quality outcomes on complex projects.

At Rudimental Labs, Emma’s multidisciplinary expertise strengthens the team’s ability to design, build, and validate innovative technologies, while ensuring that projects are underpinned by robust data, sound experimentation, and scalable digital solutions.
