Andreas Andronicou

Andreas (Andy) is a mechatronics engineer. At Rudimental Labs, his primary focus is embedded and industrial electronics, where he contributes across hardware, controls, and process design. His expertise includes PLC programming, PCB design, embedded software development, and electrical system design.
In addition to his core electronics work, Andy manages much of Rudimental Labs’ networking infrastructure, including VPN systems, and plays a key role in process engineering design. His contributions extend to drafting P&IDs and PFDs, ensuring electronic and control perspectives are well integrated into broader process flows.
Andy is also adept at modern prototyping and fabrication techniques. He is proficient in PCB and electrical system assembly and a native user of rapid prototyping tools such as 3D printing, enabling him to bring designs into reality with speed and precision.
Andy is also fluent in Mandarin, which often proves very useful when engaging with Chinese suppliers.
